Mr Bowie, I believe, did fall to earth from whatever higher (pun intended) entity there is.
What I mean to say is ive read in many of his biographies that he is the example of the person who was like any other British aspiring artist.......and then did not originally intend to do so but CHANGED THE WORLD, MUSIC, STYLE, AND THE LIVES OF MILLIONS.
And has achieved absolute transcendence among people in my opinion.
Oh...I am breathless! You know me, I always have something to say...But wow. The emotions, the taut energy, and fear, and the angles and lighting in this piece are sublime. I love the tones, the underlying oranges and reds, and the perfect turns of the nose. His eyes are so lifelike, they made me shudder in appreciation. They seem to actually curve and glisten in the dim light, and I love the slim, slender pupils set into the deep, rustic orangey-red. Bravissima, darling.
You may be breathless my dear, but I am Absolutely speechless!! You certainly can wax lyricalI really appreciate your comment although I'll will try my very best not to let it go to my head!!! So glad you like it!! thank you
You must probably be getting fed up of seeing my name on your notifications so frequently. But I absolutely love your Bowie series; each piece is incredible. I can't wait to see what you do with your remaining two.
No it's always a pleasure to get a comment from you! Thanks I'm really glad you like the series, although I must admit you had me a bit confused for a moment and checking in my Bowie gallery folder to see if I had only done eight when I thought I'd done nine! I think you'll find you've missed one Megan!!:
Whoops, sorry for confusing you, I got a little confused myself as this was your 8th piece (I looked at the artists' comments beforehand). Anyways, they're all incredible, some of the best Bowie art I've ever seen.
